All ages showing at 8:30 Followed by 21 and over at 9:45/dark Beer and live music by the local band Endorfins till midnight. Come out and see a great flick while giving back to the trails!
21+ only? there better be an all-ages show at some other time, or you can bet Boundary Bay is going to be fighting off hoards of teenagers who want to see the movie.
We will be doing two showings, one for the younger crowds, then followed by the 21+ showing. The movie was really good after its first viewing at Sea Otter, and I'm sure it only gets better the more you watch it. hint, hint... two showings on the 22nd. We will list show times and more details here and to the new FreehubMag.com site in the coming week. Can't wait to see everyone smiling ear to ear with beers in hand!
Kudos to Sean, Matty, Brandon, Trev-dog, Josh and Bryan for pulling the event together. Also, to Stephanie, Melissa and Michelle for managing the door/raffle tickets again. Those gals totally rocked. I hope I didn't forget anyone.
Afterwards, I talked to a couple of folks that said they thought that was the bike event they had attended. Also, a couple of folks didn't know that Whatcom Trails Co-op even existed, so these do serve a greater purpose than just an excuse to drink beers with the bro's! ;-)
Didn't get the compete story, I was uip there though. I heard a guy puling out or something hit a car, tried to drive off and smashed into a parked car smashing two cars, his air bag did not go off.
